93,30 - Senior year, revisited
Jan. 18th, 2013 09:37 pm[ Stephanie Gordon has been applying to schools for the last several months. At the age of 18 her high school days are almost over and it would seem she has a bright future ahead of her in journalism or some such thing. She's starting to get interviews, but she's not too happy with her prospects at the moment. In fact, she's already considering widening the net and trying places even further away from home. Why, you ask? ]
I swear, if I hear one more person tell me I would be happier in an all girls school I'm gonna break somebody's nose. Yes, I might be, but it's the principle of the thing, you know? It's not like I didn't apply to any.
[ She just got back from a college interview. She's pretty sure she didn't get in, but she may as well make a point while she's all dolled up. ]
Speaking of which, has anyone heard anything about the Times scholarship? I was supposed to hear from them some time this week, but I guess the letter could have gotten lost in the mail.
[ She huffs, glances away from the screen and tucks a stray hair into place out of her eyes. ]
Anyway, how is everybody? Ready for the weekend?
