[ Stephanie Gordon has been applying to schools for the last several months. At the age of 18 her high school days are almost over and it would seem she has a bright future ahead of her in journalism or some such thing. She's starting to get interviews, but she's not too happy with her prospects at the moment. In fact, she's already considering widening the net and trying places even further away from home. Why, you ask? ]

I swear, if I hear one more person tell me I would be happier in an all girls school I'm gonna break somebody's nose. Yes, I might be, but it's the principle of the thing, you know? It's not like I didn't apply to any.

[ She just got back from a college interview. She's pretty sure she didn't get in, but she may as well make a point while she's all dolled up. ]

Speaking of which, has anyone heard anything about the Times scholarship? I was supposed to hear from them some time this week, but I guess the letter could have gotten lost in the mail.

[ She huffs, glances away from the screen and tucks a stray hair into place out of her eyes. ]

Anyway, how is everybody? Ready for the weekend?
ichoosefight: (upside-down time)
You know in normal schools kids get the weekends off? So much for that. I can hardly wait for the next holiday. There should be laws against having this much homework piled up.

[ Stephanie, for all her complaining, lays comfortably under a rather large tree just outside the school. She's got a pillow and snacks and everything, and is very clearly not working on any homework. ]

But whatever. It's so nice outside, it'd be a shame not to have some fun. What's everyone else up to?

[ooc | From ye plotting post: Stephanie Brown is a sophomore because she has to be older than Tim, nyah, 16. On the gymnastics team, good at history, but not motivated enough to excel in any of her other classes. A B/C student who hangs out with the punk crowd, if there is such a thing. The kids who would rather have a water gun fight than study, with actual water guns because it's more fun that way. Cockerel. ]

[ Oh, hello there! You get an awkward (though mostly covered) chest shot while Steph tries to set the communicator up to get a full body shot. Satisfied that it won't fall over, she backs up and brushes floor gunk off of her pretty knee-length purple dress. You may also notice that her hair is newly trimmed and she's in a fantastic mood. ]

Hey there folks! We got a decent crowd yesterday, but it seems to me that nobody's been spreading the word. You see, my sisters and I [ and she does mean all of the cooch dancers, there ] have a show going on every day we're here, which may not be as long as you'd like, so you should come see it before you lose the chance! [ She twists her hips idly in excitement, hands out to the side to frame them nicely. ] You see, we dance. And I'd give you a little preview, but you have to pay to see the show! So stop on by, and you won't be disappointed. Isn't that right, boys? [ She winks teasingly, brushes her hair behind her shoulders and goes to retrieve the communicator. ]

[ Private to Donny ]

I love what you did with my hair, Donny, but when can I see you again?

[ooc | I'm not sure who would have noticed, but Steph snuck off late last night to meet a ~boy~ in town. She returned bright and early before anyone would have expected her to be awake, no worse for the wear. ]
