 Hi, err, everybody. I'm guessing I should introduce myself, right?

I'm Stephanie Brown, new warden on the block. I'm guessing the actual wardening part will come later? Anyway, there's not much else to say about me. So... nice to meet you all, I guess.

Um, what does that mean?

Just that things can get a little, uh... hairy here sometimes. Right now, we're not in the middle of a crisis, so it's a cause for celebration.

'Crisis' and 'prison barge' seems like a very bad combination.

And then you add super powers, aliens, vampires and one very bad pilot into the mix... And you've got the Barge.

Good to know I knew exactly what I was getting into. Thanks for the warning at least... I suppose it would be too much to ask that there's something specific I should be watching out for?

That gives you a leg up over a lot of the newer wardens. We get people coming in blind sometimes, and it turns into a mess.

Er, depends. You know about floods yet?

Yeah, uh. [HOW TO PUT THIS.] Floods are these sort of... completely mad, insane events that hit us from time to time. If you ever... wake up as a man, or a dog, or your best friend from childhood... it's a flood.
