[ Steph's sitting in her room, the camera positioned steadily so that her face is in the center of the screen. She hasn't actually found the recipe she was looking for yet. As soon as she does she'll be on her way. ]

This holiday season has certainly been... colorful? I totally called it on people having to wear their sweaters, but I didn't think you'd all be so excited about it. [ She shrugs. Not like she didn't take advantage of a few people being cheerier than normal. ]

A lot of people have been talking about their holiday traditions. It's not really a tradition in my family, but decorating gingerbread cookies is something fun to do for the holiday season that should be pretty secular. Fun, delicious, and perfectly safe. If anyone wants to join me, I'll be down in the dining hall. I'll show you how it works if you've never done it before.

Lua - A cute scarf.
Doyle - A nice dream-catcher and a batarang for him to keep.
Buffy - A hot cocoa mix set.
Faith - A collapsible staff like mine. Should be harder to break than a wooden one.
Selina - One of those lucky cat things. Definitely black.
Kon - A Space Turtle. Failing that, his own cape.
Bruce - If you could just deliver this doll I made.
Babs - Does a Number One Mentor mug exist? If not, can it?
Cass - Fuzzy Batman slippers.
Dick - A new set of practice escrima sticks. I know his normal ones are basically unbreakable, but I'm hoping he'll get the reference. And a box of peppermint bark.
Jason - A water gun. Not too realistic. I don't want him threatening anyone effectively.
Tim - Bat cookie cutters. And some cookie dough to go with it, his favorite kind.
Rose - A cute wallet that can double as a cigarette case if she really wants it to.
Aya - A Green Lantern ring. Not a real one, obviously, but I noticed she doesn't seem to have one.
Duo - Bumper car windup toys.
Arthur - A librarian action figure.
Lia - A bit of jewelry from home.
Tony - One of those classic robot toys that's also a pencil sharpener.
Wanda - A complete set of Chakra candles. I don't know if they really do anything but I'm sure she'll like candles regardless.
Megamind - His favorite kind of pie, and a picture of whoever Minion is and him together. Looking happy, please.
K - Maybe a martian squeeze toy will help him relax.
Leslie - A nice nail polish set.
Dean - A few cans of his favorite soup, and a big pecan pie.
Chromie - A book on the history of the world she came from.

Okay, who was raised in a prominently Christian society after the story became popular that hasn't heard 'Twas the Night Before Christmas'. Aya's an alien AI, she's probably only heard of Christianity second-hand.

That would be true, I adjusted to demons and other creepy crawlies. Aliens shouldn't take too much longer. I don't know I always expect the creatures off Mars Attacks more then normal lookin' people like Aya. [ He spoke with a shrug, since glowing green energy is totally normal]

Smiles at her, although there's a hint of sadness in it, and he moves over to her to give her a hug.]

[ She gives him a squeeze in return, but quickly puts some space between them and looks at him expectantly. ]

[Rubs the back of his head and looks at her uneasily.]

I was talking to Dean and it got me to thinking. I know I said I wouldn't risk going home before the holidays, in case I didn't return in time. But, I don't know. I feel like I should go home for a little and get some more life experience outside of the Barge. I've been on the Barge longer than I've been alive in my world.

[ The smile she had turns forced, then fades entirely. She squares her shoulders. ]

So... you're leaving.

[ It's not her decision, she knows. ]

What exactly did Dean say to you?

Not for long! [Responds quickly.]

I'll try not to be gone for long, anyway. [Closes his eyes over, thinking back to the conversation.]
