She's blonde, skinny but toned, and she wears blue and red. No skirt, she uh, doesn't wear pants either but she does have knee high boots.

You said you learned Kryptonian from her?

Yeah, when we made contact I somehow saw into her memories. I saw what happened to Krypton and picked up Kryptonian on the way,

She told me that I'm Kon-El, an abomination in the House of El. [He'll leave out the whole part about how she told him he was destined to become a mindless killing machine.]

One of these days I'll have something positive to say about my life back home.

Something like that. On the plus side, things aren't too bad here. If I could be free of my power restrictions, I might even say I like it at times.

You need a real warden for that, unfortunately. But I'm sure you'll get your chance.

I know. [Grumbles.] So far the people I've met who I'd be interested in being my warden either have an inmate or they know the other me from my world.

Sometimes you wind up paired with someone you barely know. We don't really get a choice.

How'd you end up with your inmate?

One day the Admiral announced that we were paired. That's pretty much it.

[Grins.] Now it's my turn to ask a bunch of questions. How long have you had your inmate and what is he or she like?

Her name is Wanda. She's a good kid, she just needs some help controlling her powers and emotions sometimes. We've been paired a couple of months now.

Ah, I've spoken to her before and I know how those things go. What sort of things do you do with her to help with those?

[ichoosefight]

Give her advice, mostly. She's already found a ton of other people to train her in combat, meditation, and that sort of stuff. I just help however I can.

Sounds like she has a lot to keep her busy. I should look into some combat training while my powers are dampened, it will help keep me from going stir crazy.

Not a bad idea. Dick teaches self defense, you should talk to him.

I'll look into that, though part of me feels like I'll be cheating. Like I was telling you earlier, when I touch someone I "read" them. When I'm fighting someone and they touch me, it's like I am doing a physiological scan of them and it's easy to detect any physical weakness.

Being able to figure out your opponents' weaknesses is important. Maybe Dick can show you how to do it from a distance.

I used to be able to do that too. [Don't mind him as he sulks for a second or two.]

That's why you learn. You earn it back.

I shouldn't have to earn it back, my telekinesis is a part of who I am. [His frustrations are bringing out his more defiant side.]

How would you feel if you came here and someone told you, that you had to earn back your perception? Sense of touch? Hearing?

Angry, frustrated, hurt. But that's what being here as an inmate means. Something is taken away from you.

I've made my mistakes but this place? This place messes with people's emotions and freedom You said yourself it "turned you into a bitch". How is that helping anyone?! Why do you get to act that way but still get to be free?!
