Kon's fallen into a coma. I've got him here in our room and I'm keeping him here, since he won't need any kind of medical treatment anyway. [ He doesn't have to eat, so there's a plus. ]

Barge variety. [ Her voice takes on that business tone she saves for people that she only really tolerates. ] It happens sometimes. People go to sleep, they wake up a week or more later. None of the symptoms of a medical coma, just sleep.

[ Harv is a touch old fashioned, okay. ]

Nothing. He just... didn't wake up this morning. [ And considering he's always up before she is, always makes her breakfast, that's plenty to make her worry. ]

That means I'll be in charge instead of him. Everything will be the same as usual.

[He doesn't respond right away, mostly because he doesn't know what to think about this. Although he does feel abandoned, he mostly realizes it's irrational. When he does get in touch, his voice is cautious.]

Yeah, whenever you want. Door's unlocked. [ She gets it, the desire to watch and wait. She would much prefer to move him to the couch first, though. Something about letting people into their bedroom. ]
