We're really on the ball with the comfort parties these days. [ It seems like only weeks ago that she had to be a radio DJ just to lighten the mood. What's a girl to do when she's outlived her usefulness? ] You know what would be funny? If we had a pirate costume party, just to be contrary.

[ She makes a face. ] Only not really, because I'm sure we'd either be turned into pirates ourselves or be overrun with angry port police. [ Sigh. ] It's just our lot in life.

Well, I mean, it's just, I tried to talk to her. Finally. About Sylar. He, uh, said he was in love with her but also said he loved me...and you know what a dick he can be, so...I don't know, I thought it might be healthy for the both of us.

I think you guys should try to talk. I'm sure my opinion doesn't mean a whole lot in this, but whether or not he's telling either of you the truth, he's creating a bad relationship between you two for no good reason.

He's probably not the best person to get attached to emotionally.

Oh, we did talk. Once. I told her what Sylar had said to me and we talked about why he chose Gotham when she isn't even from there (which I didn't know). I think the air is cleared between us, or we just politely acknowledge one another. It's not that I go out of my way to avoid her, it's just...it works better that way, I guess?

Yeah, I know what you mean. That's good, though. You shouldn't let him bother you too much even when he's gone.

It's actually a relief, but...I really don't think of him at all anymore. Especially since meeting Jesse.

[Blushes.] I meant to tell you sooner, but...well, whatever, I'm telling you now. We've been dating since we made Port in Paris, which was about four or five months ago. He's around my age for once? [laughs.]

Awwwwww. I can't believe I missed Paris. That is almost nauseatingly romantic.

Hee, I know, right? Movie stuff. He just appreciates me and that's something I haven't had in a while. He's willing to go back home with me, he doesn't mind the three dog situation, he's beyond cool with the abilities thing...it's been almost perfect. And I really, really want you two to meet, I've already talked his ear off about you.
