[ There's nothing but the sounds of the ocean and wildlife for a short while as Steph holds the communicator above herself as though it were a camera. She grins at the thing, trying to get a good angle of her splayed out on the beach.

After a few minutes of trying to get a picture of her grinning face against the sand, she sits up with a little umph so that her frazzled hair is framed against the sky. ]

Wish I could send home postcards with this thing. Mom would freak.

But okay, since I know some of you guys suck at survival (Nygma), here's some handy tips.

If you don't know exactly what it is, don't eat it. If you killed it, cook the crap out of it before you eat it, and get rid of the rest far away from camp. And if you don't want to be attacked by wild cats, make lots of noise and stay in a large group. Campfires at night help too. This is mostly just logic stuff, okay? Oh, and if you can't make a fire, don't go swimming. Hypothermia's a pretty stupid way to die.

[ She gives the camera another wide grin and a mock salute. ]
