[ Stephanie, mermaid of the tropics and sister of Cassandra, has always been a bit of an odd one. She’s easy enough to get along with, but once she gets an idea into her head she doesn’t let it go. For example: ]

Humans! [ The feed shows lushious and very wet blonde locks splayed all over a very warm rock, purple markings that circle her eyes, a bit of netting for a shirt. She couldn’t even be bothered to sit up straight for this. Of course, from her grin, she’s not taking much of anything very seriously. ] You’re so cute with your weird little leg thingies.

Can I keep one of you? I’ll take good care of you and everything. None of the nasty monsters will eat you, not while I’m around. Promise.

[ She flips over to give the camera a sultry look. ]

So what do you say? Who wants to be my little pet?

I'm not? [ She puts on her most innocently curious face. ] Then what am I?

[ Well goodness, she's honored by the presence of such a loner to comment on her hunt. ]

Aw, but they're so cute when they're angry!

[ Not that honored, though. ]

They are not 'cute'. 'Cute' is an arbitrary designation to assign one's physical attraction at levels which admit to allowing for excessive leeway.

They are a nuisance and should leave.

Well yes, what you said too. I only want one. They don't live very long anyway!

[Particularly if their life spans were so short.]

Just to play with. They're so funny. And they're new.

It isn't as colorful as Cassandra's, but it's mine.

Whoever said anything about eating? [Vesper just wants to drown them. c:]

There was talk of eating. And anywhere there are other things that find humans really delicious.

Well, I promise not to eat anyone, even if you do keep a pet human.

They look like so much fun. But I don't think they'd be good pets.

I know exactly what you're thinking, and it's not going to happen. I'm keeping one as a pet and nobody is allowed to kill it and that's that.
