Do you ever wake up and find your life makes a crazy kind of sense? Maybe there's a purpose, maybe there's not, but we won't know until it's all over, so why waste so much time wondering about it all?

Take this place for example. We don't really know why we're here, and we don't really know why people graduate or don't. But stuff is going to happen whether we understand it or not. You focus so much on deconstructing the past and the reasons for everything that you lose sight of the future. The truth is there aren't any reasons and there aren't any answers. There's just this life thing, and whether you decide to live it or not it's going to keep happening.

[ She realizes suddenly she's been pontificating for kind of a long time, laughs awkwardly, and shrugs. ]

Guess I just felt like sharing. Anyway. I was going to say that I'm in way too good a mood to spend today cooped up inside. Anyone up for a trip to the CES? Or maybe the pool? We do have a pool, right, it's not just a myth to make freshmen look stupid?
